Have you ever thought about commitment and compounding together? Today I am writing you from my gym where I am about to go get my a$$ kicked by my personal trainer and it made me think of how we can use these two concepts, commitment and compounding when applied consistently to our advantage and stop allowing them to secretly be a disadvantage. Read how I’ve done this below👇

Negative or Positive Commitment + Compounding
So in the past 2 weeks I have lost 6 lbs, BUT in the past 1 ½ years I have gained 19 lbs. I currently weigh 213 lbs.
Why is this important? I’ll get back to that in just a moment, but first let me tell you a very important lesson I learned from a book called “The Slight Edge”.
Back between 2018-2019 I joined a coaching program that sent everyone a complimentary book for joining. That book being “The Slight Edge.
In this book the premise was simple everyday you have choices to make that are going to be so minuscule you won’t ever realise they are effecting you, BUT in the long run they compound.
Those same compounding decisions done consistently; such as eating a cookie a day or choosing to have a piece of fruit instead will either greatly negatively or positively effect you.
Also I was a father to be as my now 4 year old son was soon to be born. With him coming I wanted to be better for him and so I took this book to heart and applied it to my health and in my business.
That year I lost over 43 lbs down from 234lbs down to 191 lbs. I also made more money in a month than I every had and helped more people than I had ever helped before.
So why is consistency + compounding so effective and how can you apply it to your life.
Well, do you want to have more closing and make more money? Great! Do something every day to talk to people and get them in your database.
Do you want to learn something new to move the needle and push your business to greater heights? Awesome! Either read a book or follow those who are doing what you want to be doing in your business. APPLY what you learn!
So you we don’t have to eat the whole elephant at once and I advise against it. My advice to you is devise a daily action plan and stick to it…REALLY stick to it for the next 6 months.
After you have your plan in place revise it every 30 days as needed. Seriously, if you know what to do to be successful then all you have to do is apply it everyday.
If you don’t find someone that does and let them help you build your daily action plan.
