You know when I first got into direct response marketing both as a real estate agent and professional marketer…I was afraid to message people.
Probably like many of you are today. We just don’t want to bother anyone.
We tell ourselves things like:
They will message me if they need me.”
I hate to break it to you. That means you are playing it by chance. What’s to say they won’t message some other agent they think of first.
Or worse they message someone that messaged them last.
So here’s your tip for the day. Message 10 people this message right now. Just 10 and take the conversation where it goes.
“Hey name, how are things going?” That’s it! Trust me…you won’t be bothering them.
Most people don’t get messages from people just checking on them.
I think you’ll be surprised on the positive response.
Bonus tip: Let them know you are updating your database and ask if you can update their info.
