Have you every really sat and thought about it? Have you looked back thought about something you really were terrible at, BUT NOW are really amazing at? Let’s dive a little deeper on this. 👇🏽

How to stop sucking a realistic approach

Yesterday I opened an “X” account formerly known as twitter. Follow me here.

Why? Because I thin I suck at writing and I want to get better at for myself and for you my readers and fellow agents.

Here is what I read from a creator I think most of you know by now: 

As with most things Alex writes or says it stopped me in my tracks and made me think back to things I was terrible at and kept trying.

You know like when I was a baby and kept falling as I tried to walk or when I became an adult and was trying to find real estate clients and couldn’t but eventually got good at it.

Then, it made me think about you all my real estate agent peers. There are so many great and successful agents out there that once sucked.

You know the ones we look up to and aspire to be like. BUT we have to think at some point they sucked at prospecting, social media posting, email writing, video content.

However, we still look up to them. WHY?

Because like Alex said they sucked, they sucked less, they kept trying to suck less, got a little better, keep trying and eventually they got good enough for you to notice how good they became.

Eventually they got good enough through their TRYING that they got good enough that their network and clients started calling.

So let me ask you this…what is something you think you suck at, but if you kept trying and got better at would help you grow your business?

I want you to write that down today. I want you to try it today. Then, I want you to see how bad you suck and then I want you to think about the agents you look up to today who no longer suck!

Well, that’s it for today. Get out there and suck less by trying more!
